That is horrifying! I can't even imagine...it really makes you think. That must be hard to see those patients in that condition, especially now that you are a mother yourself.
My, that's a blunt, truthful post...but much needed I'm sure especially considering the source. I can't imagine seeing that day in & out...you must be very strong to deal with it.
This post kinda freaked me out. But that's okay... Today my kid fell off his new bike at least five times. I know his helmet helped keep his noggin safe! Oy.
I'm a resident physician and first-time mom. You are welcome to follow my chronicles of returning to work. I will be open about the challenges of protecting family time and sticking to my breast-feeding plan in this difficult career path.
